Campaign Details:
Launched on September 13, 2005, this campaign reaches Reno and all of Northern Nevada including Sparks, Carson City and Carson Valley. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development field office in Reno acts as the lead agency for the campaign. All calls to the help line are fielded by Consumer Credit Affiliates. Staff conducts intake evaluations and then either set appointments with callers for further review, or refer callers out to an appropriate partner agency. Several clients have been referred to the Nevada Department of Justice, the Mortgage Lending Division, and at times to FDIC.
The Reno/ Northern Nevada conducts outreach through billboards, paid radio and TV advertising in both English and Spanish, free Public Service Announcements in both English and Spanish, and paid newspaper advertising in both mainstream newspapers and minority community newspapers.
