Campaign Details:
Piedmont Housing Alliance is the lead agency for the Central Virginia campaign, which launched on March 13, 2007. The campaign builds on a successful collaboration among partners in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, joining together against predatory lending to ensure the protection of homeowner assets in local low- to moderate-income communities. Clients receive counseling and an evaluation of their credit status. If refinancing is an option, counselors secure and verify their information and work with them to refinance. For those who do not appear eligible, additional counseling is provided, and other potential solutions are explored.
